Four police officers and multiple civilians were shot Friday afternoon at a warehouse in Aurora, Illinois, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms confirmed.
An active shooter was reported at the Henry Pratt Co., a manufacturing business, and dozens of police vehicles and ambulances responded to the scene.
Just after 3 p.m. local time, the city confirmed on its Twitter account that the shooter is in custody, but the area is still on lockdown.

The Chicago Bureau of the FBI tweeted that agents are on the scene.
John Probst, an employee at the company, said the gunman is a co-worker.
Probst told ABC7 that he ran out of the back door of the Henry Pratt Co. building as the shooting unfolded.
He said he recognized the gunman, who he said had “a pistol with a laser.”
Probst said he wasn’t hurt but that another colleague was “bleeding pretty bad.”
